| Oil Companies Create Center for
Business Support The Angolan State Oil Company Sonangol,
BP, Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Total, have jointly financed the
creation of the “Center for Enterprise Support (CAE) with a
view to increasing the competitiveness of local companies in
the petroleum services sector. The CAE will help provide technical
and legal advice to local enterprises and will facilitate contacts
for Angolan companies with financial institutions, investors,
and technology companies. The CAE will support private sector
development, job creation, skills and knowledge transfers, and
help build indigenous capacity.
